Remember that it's a tropical climate, so it's necessary to be vaccinated, bring insect repellent and all types of sun protection, stay well hydrated, and wear appropriate clothing.

It's an indigenous reserve, so you should always listen to the curaca (chief) and elders, only take photos in designated areas, and respect traditions and rules.
